The first in Ukraine dental implant manufacturing factory ABM Technology, which meets all European standards, opened in Dnipro. Implants of its own brand Bauer’s Implants will be high-quality, and most importantly, an affordable alternative to similar imported products that most Ukrainians could not afford. The opening of the modern ABM Technology factory in Dnipro was made possible thanks to a domestic investor, entrepreneur Vadym Iermolaiev, known for his successful innovative projects in various business areas.The process of greenfield establishment of the unique enterprise – from the emergence of an idea to the full launch of production – took three years. According to experts, the emergence of a new high-tech plant in Dnipro is an important event for the regional economy. Indeed, in the region there will be a maximum of added value, taxes will be paid, new jobs will be created and highly qualified staff will be trained to work on the latest equipment.
But the main advantage is that, thanks to ABM Technology, dental implantation will become more affordable for millions of Ukrainians. After all, if the average price of an implant in Ukraine is $ 120
(this is without the cost of additional prosthetic components, payment for the work of an implantologist, dental technician and nurse), the cost of Ukrainian analogues, which are not inferior in quality and safety to the best world standards, is two times lower!
“The value of this news is hard to overestimate, because, according to medical statistics, about 10 thousand Ukrainians need dental implantation every month,” says dentist of the highest category Olena Kuznietsova. “And these are the most vulnerable people – retirees, veterans and soldiers , poor and unemployed people. But the loss of teeth is not only an aesthetic, but also a serious medical and social problem. Such patients have the disturbance of occlusion, problems with the gums and the remaining teeth begin, the face becomes deformed, the diction is disturbed. By the way, although the main direction of work of ABM Technology is the production of dental implants and prosthetic components of its own brand Bauer`s Implants, representatives of the aircraft and automotive industries, manufacturers of watches also cooperate with the plant. As the production director Vadym Vozniak said, thanks to the unique machines ABM Technology can manufacture a wide range of high precision parts and sizes up to 20 mm in size. Moreover, a full production cycle is possible: from the development of the customer’s idea to the manufacture and packaging of the product.
The company works with a variety of materials – titanium, plastic, metal alloys. Today, the plant is able to produce about 50 thousand units of various products per month. Moreover, these are starting volumes, an increase in power is possible in proportion to the demands.
Facts and figures: ABM Technology plant is equipped with the latest technology. The company does not have equipment released earlier than 2017. The production installed machines of the Japanese company TSUGAMI and the Swiss company KKS, as well as German units. Modern high-precision equipment requires appropriate qualification of personnel, therefore, ABM Technology employees (operators, designers, programmers, technologists) studied at European factories for a year.
The quality management system at the factory is certified by IMQ (Italy) in accordance with the international standard ISO 13485: 2016.
Preliminary testing of products is conducted by the leading expert organization not only in Europe, but also in the whole world – the Swiss company SGS. ABM Technology implants’ lifetime warranty is checked on machines that simulate chewing movements: in a month, such mechanisms make 5 million pressures (as many people do in a lifetime!).
The titanium alloy from which implants are made is produced by the world leader, the German company ZAPP. The material is well known for its biocompatibility and mechanical strength.
