A new oilseed processing plant will appear in the Khmelnytsk region, Gorodok. The capacity of the plant will be 620 thousand tons of sunflower processing per year and 264 thousand tons of soybeans.
The new plant will use an innovative oil processing technology, which was developed at the plant ” POTOKY ” in the Dnipro and has already proven itself. As you know, a unique product for the feed industry is produced by the one of a kind technology in Dnipro – high-protein sunflower concentrate Proglot. The product entered the market only in early 2020, but has already become popular, and is successfully exported to Turkey, CIS and European countries.
Currently, the new technology uses only sunflowers, but the future SEZ in Khmelnytsk region for the first time will start using this technology for soybean processing as well.
New bioelectric power station will be constructed and will run on pellets from sunflower husk. The capacity of the bio power plant will be 20 megawatts, which will make it one of the most powerful biofuel plants in Ukraine.
“Dnipro plant “POTOKY” has established itself as a successful and socially responsible enterprise. This is a Ukrainian plant with innovative technologies and modern equipment. The successful production model motivated us to open another similar plant in Ukraine”, – commented the director of the POTOKY plant, Yevhen Yarovy.
Completion of the plant construction is scheduled for mid-2023.
