Vadim Ermolaev: Not Passion for Work Entails Success, but Success Entails Passion for Work
  1 August 2019

Businessman Vadim Ermolaev raised an issue of how much success depends on passion on his page on Facebook. According to him, the fact that only passion for work brings success is one of the most common wrong beliefs of today.

“Should a person have passion for his work?

A phrase of one credit manager sank into my mind: “I never give money to people who say that they “pursue their passion”. I give money to those who open a business, the duller the better.”

It seems to me that one of the most common deception today is that only passion for one’s business brings success.

Not always the case. Passion can be a pillar to start some business, to generate inspirational ideas. But if apart from inspiration a person does not have enough patience, a willingness to work hard and solve not the most interesting and romantic tasks, he has little chance of success.

But if you do your job well, day after day, consciously and persistently, you will see how you are getting better and better. Passion for work comes thereafter. Since not passion brings success, but success brings passion.

I wish everyone to have a fruitful working week,” Vadim Ermolaev wrote.
