The LUNAPAK factory in Dnipro, owned by a famous businessman Vadym Iermolaiev, has long been among the largest printing companies in Ukraine. But only recently, thanks to an increase in investment in production capacity, the company began to grow rapidly and took a leading position in the cardboard packaging market.
As a duty of a market leader, LUNAPAK acquires a unique, high-tech equipment of its kind, which has no similar machinery anywhere in Ukraine. So in 2013, the first in Ukraine sheet rotogravure MOOG printing machine with a deep printing method was installed. This equipment allows you to apply a unique finish on the packaging, making it more presentable and exclusive.
Being a supporter of advanced technologies, Vadym Iermolaiev did not stop at what he had achieved, and continued to invest in the development of the enterprise. Already in 2017, an offset sheet-fed KBA Rapida 106 printing machine, the “king” of printing equipment, was installed on the LUNAPAK plant, which has no analogues in its configuration not only in Ukraine but also in Europe.
These investments attracted additional investments in postprinting equipment, an increase in production capacity and additional jobs. All these actions could not pass without recognition, and already in 2018, the LUNAPAK plant became the recognized leader in the cardboard packaging market and the engine for the introduction of new technologies in the printing industry.
Now the company has already developed a plan for development and expansion of the types and range of production of packaging materials. So we can safely say that the team of the LUNAPAK company will continue to actively develop this segment of Ukrainian production in the future.
