Vadym Iermolaiev: Dnipro is the Heart that Keeps Beating for the Future of the Entire Country
  24 June 2025

Vadym Iermolaiev is often called the man who transformed the face of Dnipro.
Thanks to his initiatives, the city has seen the creation of key projects, shopping centers, and pedestrian zones that turned a typical post-Soviet city into a modern and attractive metropolis for both residents and visitors.

Vadym Iermolaiev has repeatedly emphasized that Dnipro is his hometown, and he deliberately chose to conduct business here to make the city even more successful.

The businessman shared his vision of what prospects await this city, located in the very heart of Ukraine, after the war.

“I believe that Dnipro will become one of the main centers of Ukraine’s recovery. It has industrial potential, entrepreneurial culture, and readiness for transformation. The goal is to make the city even more comfortable for living, for working, and for tourism,” Iermolaiev notes.

Investments in Reconstruction

The businessman is convinced that in the first years after victory, Dnipro will become the epicenter of major infrastructure and construction projects. This concerns not only the restoration of what was destroyed, but also the creation of a new urban infrastructure — resilient, energy-efficient, and innovative.

“There will be a chance not just to rebuild, but to make it better than it was. The focus will be on housing, public spaces, modern logistics, and of course, the creation of new jobs,” he emphasizes.

Industry and New Technologies

According to Iermolaiev, industrial Dnipro has all the prerequisites to become one of the hubs of modernized production. Among the promising sectors are high-precision engineering, raw material processing, mechanical engineering, and bioenergy.

“The industry of the future is not just smoke and concrete, but technologies that work smartly and sustainably. And Dnipro already has the workforce and infrastructure to make this happen,” stresses Iermolaiev.

A City for People

Special attention, he says, must be given to the quality of urban life. Iermolaiev highlights the need to create a safe, eco-friendly, and people-oriented environment. His priorities include the development of parks, schools, sports facilities, culture, and healthcare services.

“The task is to make Dnipro a place where people want to live, not just work. This city should become a true home for young people, families, veterans, and everyone who ties their future to Ukraine,” adds the businessman.

For Iermolaiev, Dnipro is not just a city — it is a symbol of faith in Ukraine.

“Dnipro is the heart that keeps beating for the future of the entire country,” concludes Vadym Iermolaiev.
