Vadym Iermolaiev raised the issue of youth unemployment on his Facebook page.
The businessman was surprised that the unemployment rate among young people remains quite high, while at the same time it is difficult to find young specialists in technical professions on the labor market:
“They write that the youth unemployment rate in Ukraine has reached 18%. Strange. Even in our corporation I see that new jobs appear every day, and it’s unlikely we are that unique. Frankly, finding new young employees is actually quite difficult. This especially applies to engineers, designers, project developers — and even machine operators.
So what’s the problem? Did everyone go to study philosophy? I understand that they are needed too. But, young people, our country needs to produce GDP. So we are waiting in our corporation for heroes in overalls.”
